TUSCARAWAS - Phil Caldwell led a balanced Dick Ronald-coached Tuscarawas Bronco (4-4) attack here Saturday night which produced a victory over Malvern. Caldwell tossed in 24 markers to share game honors with Green Hornet Jim Montella and raised his season total to 146. Tuscarawas used alternate zone and pressing defenses and canned 29 of 81 action shots for 31 percent and made 22 of 38 free tosses. Malvern hit on 25 of 68 from the floor for 35 percent and swished 19 of 23 charities. Bronco Roger Knisely pulled down 14 rebounds to pace both teams in that department. C.L. Andrews grabbed 9 for the Green Hornets. The Tuscarawas Reserves (7-1) overwhelmed the Malvern Reserves 70-36.
