64 - Strasburg Rolls Over Tusky Valley 74-48 (12-14-63)

ZOARVILLE - Strasburg's mighty Tigers (5-0) put another feather in their caps here Saturday night, rocking Tuscarawas Valleys' Trojans (2-2).  An expected close battle never materialized as the unbeaten Tigers rolled to a 15-8 lead at the 1st stop, were in front 33-14 at intermission and led 54-27 going into the final 8 minutes of  action.  John Peters again was top man point-wise for the Bob Shahan-coached Strasburgits with 27.  Don  Wallick added 19.  Vic Gessner had 11 and Rob Lab 10.  Big Gary Ferren was high for the Ken Gold-guided Trojans with 13 markers.  Dave Widder tossed in 10.  Normally high-scoring Trojan Paul Shibaugh was held to only 2 points.  Strasburg outgoaled its host 29 to 17 and made 16 of 26 free throws to 14 of 20 for Tuscarawas Valley.  The Strasburg Reserves (4-1) also rolled over their opponents, the Tuscarawas Valley Reserves (1-3), 41-37.
