STONE CREEK - Verle (Curley) Endlich led the Panthers (2-2) (6-3) to their come-from-behind victory, doing a "bang up" job, especially in the final frame.  Trailing at every stop, the Charles Huggins-coached Panthers, the surprise team of the county this season went ahead 47-46 on a shot by Endlich with 35 seconds left.  Tuscasrawas (1-2) (3-4) made an erratic pass and Panther Vic Turner was fouled, making good for the final point of the night.  The Broncos of Coach Dick Ronald made one last-gap effort for a bucket, but had to fire down court in a hurry as just 3 seconds remained.  Broncos Russ McGlothlin returned to action after missing 5 games due to pneumonia and got 14 points.  Stone Creek, which surpassed last season's win total of 5 with the decision, hit on 17 of 46 action shots.  Tuscarawas also made 17, taking 44 attempts.  The Panthers, who  have lost but 3 games, made 8 of 12 from the floor in the deciding final frame.  The Stone Creek Reserves (6-2) also nip the Tuscarawas Reserves (6-1) 25-24 for Tuscarawas' 1st lost of the season.
