64 - Strasburg Downs Gnadenhutten 74-53 (1-3-64)

GNADENHUTTEN - A tight press spelled disastrous for the Indians of Coach Oren Thompson (0-3) (2-7).  Matching the Tigers of Coach Bob Shahan (3-0) (8-0) nearly bucket for bucket most of the 1st quarter, the Indians couldn't cope with the antics of the Tigers in the 2nd stanza, committing several erratic passes which enabled the winners to pad their magin.  Strasburg swished 30 of 75 action shots for a fine 40 percent and made 14 of 20 free tosses.  Gnadenhutten sank 18 of 44 and 17 of 30 respectively.  Rock Van Fossen and John Thomas led the Tigers on the boards with 9 rebounds apiece.  Bruce Kohl paced the Indians with 10.  Freshman Bill Kohl proved a good surprise for Gnadenhutten, taking team scoring honors with 15 points.  In the Reserve game, Strasburg (7-1) came through with a 37-32 win over Gnaden (3-3).
