Midvale used a man-to-man defense effectively and was hot on offense, sinking 25 of 55 field goals for 45 percent. Dennison canned 22 of 57 from the floor for a good 38 percent. From the foul lines, the Blue Devils of Coach Pete Hilliard sank 16 of 37 and the Railroaders 9 of 17.
