63 - Tusky Blows Away Gnaden 15-5 (5-10-63)

TUSCARAWAS - Coach Dick Ronald's Tuscarawas baseballers trounced Gnadenhutten 15-5 here yesterday to up their league record and season marks.  Jim Grant started for Tuscarawas, Jeff Maxwell also taking the hill.  The pair gave up 6 hits, struck out 9 and walked 3.  Grant received credit for the victory.  Jim Jinks started on the mound for Coach Ted Martin's club and was the loser.  He was followed to the mound by Greg Williams, John Rice and Don Garrett.  The 4 gave up 13 hits, struck out 4 and walked 3.  Maxwell, who has collected 8 hits in  his last 9 trips to the plate, led Tuscarawas with 3 for 3, including a triple, double and a single.  Grant had 2 hits, one a double.  Chuck Reichman had a triple.  Jerry Schupp and Phil Ashkettle stroked 2 singles.  Garrett paced the Indians with 3 hits.  Bruce Kohl had 2.
