BALTIC - Stone Creek (1-2) (5-3) equaled last season's win total with the victory. A year ago the Panthers were 5-16. The Eagles of Coach Stan Berkman (0-3) (0-7) held high-scoring John Flinner to 6 points, but Vic Turner, Gail Mizer and Jim Wherley took up the slack with 18, 13 and 12 respectively. Dick McPherson added 9 to the winning cause. Gus Regula paced Baltic with 10 markers. Nick Baab popped in 8. The 1st quarter was nip-and-tuck and the 2 teams were deadlocked 13-all at the close. At intermission Stone Creek led 25-19. Going into the final frame it was 45-24. The Eagles of Coach Stan Berkman made 6 of 14 free tosses and the Panthers of Coach Charles Huggins 9 of 13. The Stone Creek Reserves (5-2) rolled to a 37-30 victory over the Baltic Reserves (0-5).
