ZOARVILLE - Tusky Valley's Trojans (3-3) returned to the win trail here Saturday night with a nip-and-tuck victory over Conotton Valley. The Trojans trailed 15-10 at the close of the 1st period, but then took 33-25 and 46-40 leads at the next 2 stops. The final quarter was close all the way with the Trojans holding up under a last-minute surge. Paul Shipbaugh, held to 7 points Friday night in a Tuscarawas County Class A League loss to Midvale, stormed back to take scoring laurels for the Trojans. He bagged 19 points, Bob Burris contributed 11. Tom Leggett paced the losers with 12. TV meshed 21 of 52 action shots, while Conotton hit on 22 of 61. The Trojans offset that advantage with 15 of 27 fouls, while Conotton hit on 11 of 24. The Conotton Valley Reserves had beaten the Tuscarawas Valley Reserves (1-4) by a point, 36-35.
