AUGUSTA - Tuscarawas High Coach Dick Ronald (8-8) said he may protest Saturday night's loss to Augusta here because of what he called "questionable calls" by official Alex Pilati of Alliance. "He was constantly picking on the boys," Ronald said. Only 4 Broncos were on the floor at game's end. Two had fouled out and 2 more had been thumbed out when tempers flared late in the game. "We were taking it all night," Ronald commented. Tuscarawas led 16-14 at the 1st stop, but trailed 33-28 by halftime and was behind 50-46 going into the last quarter. Phil Caldwell led the Broncos with 16 points. Russ McGlothlin and Richie Eckhardt both played only about 2 quarters because of personal fouls. Eckhardt, who got 7 of his 8 markers in the 3rd quarter, quickly drew 3 personals and was forced to the bench. The Tuscarawas Reserves (13-2) flew by the Augusta Reserves 67-51.
