64 - Hiland Blasts Baltic 83-41 (11-29-63)

BERLIN - The high-flying Hiland Hawks (2-0) soared to a victory over Baltic (0-3) here Friday night for their 2nd in as many outings.  They beat Norwayne 57-45 last week.  Baltic led 4-3 early in the game and the score was tied 7-all at one point.  From then on it was all Hiland.  The Hawks controlled both boards and hit on 34 of 71 action shots.  The Eagles canned 14 of 42 from the floor.  Hiland, coached by Bob Schrock, was paced by Norman Feller with 20 points.  He got able support from  Ted Miller who got 17, Bill Horrisberger with 14 and Ron Miller who popped in 11.  Tim Richardson put in 10 markers to pace the Eagles of Coach Stan Berkman.  Feller led all rebounders with 10.  The Hawks are defending champions of  the Holmes County Basketball League.  The Hiland Reserves also won their game against the Baltic Reserves (0-2).
