STRASBURG - It was a "fans' delight" here for a while---until the Tigers (6-1) (14-1) began finding the hoops with their usual accuracy.  Tuscarawas Valley (5-2) (7-8) held a hot hand during the 1st half especially in the 2nd stanza.  Trailing 18-14 at the 1st stop, the Ken Gold-coached Trojans waxed hot to take a 30-28 margin at intermission.  From then on it was all John Peters and company as Strasburg exploded for a 50-36 advantage going into the last canto.  Peters, highest scoring Tiger for the season, got 16 points, but had to take a back seat to teammate Don Wallick who got 19.  Tiger Rock Van Fossen added 15, Vic Gessner popped in 12 and Rick Hall struck for 10.  Dave Widder led Tuscarawas Valley with 11 markers.  Gary Ferren, Paul Shipbaugh and Bob Burris all had 10.  Ferren, still bothered by infected tonsils, came in in the 2nd stanza, but played only partly because of personal fouls.  The Tigers, who canned 50 percent of their action shots in the 2nd half, ended with 28 of 73 for 40 percent.  They made 16 of 29 charities.  The Trojans were 20 of 51 for 39 percent and 9 of 15.  Strasburg led in rebounds, 37 to 23, with Hall grabbing 14.  Ferren hauled down 7.  In the Reserve game, Straburg (14-1) continued to roll along by beating back Tuscarawas Valley (5-8) 52-47.
