60 - Tusky Pins 61-54 loss on Brewster (1-6-60)


BREWSTER - Roping the Pattern is now set again, the Tuscarawas Broncos (5-3) opened the 1960 part of the cage campaign on a victorious note here last night. In taking down win No. 5, the Blue and White of Coach Kermit Smulbach snapped a 3-game losing streak that had come on the end of a 4 game winning skein. Chip McCahill was the spark in the Tusky attack as he snagged 16 rebounds and ended with 21 points. Gary Caviness chipped in with 16 and Phil Meese potted 14. Sam Wornstaff led the host Railroaders with 21 points. The Tusky Reserves (8-0) stampede rolls to another victory, this time over the Brewster Reserves 33-25.
