MASSILLON - Tuscarawas Valley (TV) (8-1) found little trouble in Stark County Class "AA" foe Perry (0-8) here last night. Coach Bob Heller used his substitutes freely during the contest. They played the final period and everyone who made the trip saw action during the game. With high-scoring Clarence Cantrill battling the flu and hampered by a chronic back injury, Ron Lake and Jim Studer took over scoring duties. Studer set the pace with 20 points and Lake was right behind with 18. Perry had only Ron Kaylor in double figures. He ended with 10. The Trojans, who entertain Midvale in a big Tuscarawas County Class "A" League contest Friday night, poured in 22 of 53 attempts from the field for 41.5 percent. Perry made 15 of 46 for 33 percent. Both teams hit 68 percent from the free throw line with the Trojans making 10 of 28 and the Panthers 17 of 25. The Perry Reserves jumped on the Tuscarawas Valley Reserves (4-4) in a 37-33 win.
