60 - Garaway Easy Victory Over Stone Creek 34-0 (4-22-60)

SUGARCREEK - Garaway (4-1) had little trouble with StoneCreek's (0-4) young and inexperienced baseball team yesterday when it hung up a decision.  Pirate Coach Bill Ray switched to his second team after the first inning when his charges piled up a 10-0 lead.  But the second squad took up right where the first team left off and added to the rout with a 12-run outburst.  Charles Doll connected for a single off Garaway pitcher Dan  Bleininger (3-0) in the fifth inning for Stone Creek's first hit in three contests.  Bleininger went the distance for the pirates, fanning 14, and walking one.  Scott (0-1) and Tifen (0-0) handled  the mound chores for the Panthers and were tagged for 20 hits.  Bud Yakley and Bleininger both homered (It was Yakley's 3rd of the season), with the latter's coming with the bases loaded.  Charles Stingel had a double, Koran Zehnder a triple and Tom Andreas a double.
