NAVARRE - The Tuscarawas Broncos (10-8) were making plans for their tournament debut today following their final regular season engagement at Navarre last Saturday night, losing to the Rams. The Broncos trailed 18-12 at the first stop and never headed the fast-stepping Rams from there on. The verdict closed out the campaign for both teams. The Broncos move into tourney play Saturday, meeting the winner of Friday's tilt between Baltic and Stone Creek. Gary Caviness hit 13 points to top the Broncos, while Dean Kearns hit 12. Don Leighley and Floyd Brown shared honors for Navarre with 19 each. The Tuscarawas Broncos Reserves (17-1) roped the Navarre Reserves 44-35.
