60 - Garaway Rolls To Victory 93-45 (12-24-59)

SUGARCREEK - Garaway (8-1) rebounded from Saturday night's loss to Hiland, by hammering the hapless Stone Creek Panthers (0-9) here last night. Five Pirate cagers tallied in double figures. The Panthers will enter the 1960 portion of their season winless. Garaway was never headed last night, rolling to quarter margins of 18-9, 42-19 and 64-32. Tuscarawas County's leading scorer, Koran Zehnder, poured in 22 points, while Bill Yakley followed with 16. Bob Raber connected for 12, Bud Yakley 11 and Tom Andreas 10. Larry Lorenz topped the Panthers with 17. Garaway Reserves (6-3) also won their game by blasting the Stone Creek Reserves (1-7) 41-19.
