PORT WASHINGTON - Port Washington (9-8) displayed one of its best attacks Saturday night as it dropped Augusta 85-54 for its ninth cage victory of the season. John Landon's 27 points and Jim Bender's 22 paced the Riders, while Bill Phillips hit 14, Larry Hagan 11 and Bill Fisher 10. Mark Cargill led the losers with 18 points. Port grabbed 64 rebounds and shot 34.5 percent on 34 of 99 attempts and had 22 assists, 10 by Landon. Port Washington Reserves (7-10) started off the fun by stopping the Augusta Reserves 55-30.
