Gnadenhutten (3-2) (7-4) exhibited balanced scoring in its victory over Stone Creek (0-4) (0-11). Three players gained the double figure column. Carl Dichler collected 24 points to pace the Tribesmen, his best production of the season. Ray Rank took runner-up honors with 20 and Bill Blickensderfer hit 10. Jim Degen and Larry Lorenz tied for top honors for the Panthers with 16 points apiece. Stone Creek took a 31-30 lead at halftime, but couldn't hold on. The Tribe went on top midway in the third period and held a 49-40 lead at the end of the stanza. It added 17 more points in the final period. The Panthers made 20 of 60 from the field for 33 percent and Gnaden 26 of 65 for 40 percent. The Gnaden Reserves (5-5) picked win number 5 by whipping the Stone Creek Reserves (1-8) 51-25.
