60 - Strasburg Dropped 6-5 By Midvale (4-22-60)

MIDVALE - Midvale's (2-2) baseballers were even in 4 starts today following their triumph over Strasburg (1-3) in a county league contest last night.  Mike Page (1-0) went the distance for the victory, fanning 6, walking 4 and allowing 8 hits, while Jim Clymer (0-3) was the loser.  He struck out 10, walked 5 and allowed 7 hits.  The Blue Devils had 3 errors and Strasburg 2.  Dave Smith led the victors with a double and single, Bob Rennicker collected a double and Neal Beans cracked a triple.  George and Hall each had 2 singles for Strasburg, while Clymer had a double and single.
