SCIO - Stone Creek Panthers (0-12) went down to its 12th straight defeat of the season here Saturday night losing to the host Scio Panthers (3-7). Three turnovers by Stone Creek early in the first period shot the hosts off to a lead they never relinquished. Scio was on top 22-7, 34-26 and 59-44 at the quarter stops. Merle Degen paced Stone Creek with 26 points and Gale Sauser added 17. High for the victors were Scott Amos with 29 and Jim Logan with 22. The Scio Reserves won their game over the Stone Creek Reserves (1-9) 41-25.*
