WEST LAFAYETTE - Garaway's rampaging Pirates (14-1) took victory No. 14 in easy style Saturday night, defeating the West Lafayette Generals. The Pirates raced to quarter leads of 21-13, 45-22 and 59-39. Coach Jim Stull cleaned the bench in the triumph with everyone seeing plenty of action. Koran Zehnder set the scoring pace for the Pirates with 24 points. Charles Stingel added 17, and Jim Gerber and Tom Andreas tallied 10 apiece. High for the General was Bill Shrimplin with 13. The Reserve game was not reported.
