Koran Zehnder of Garaway raced back into the top spot in the Tuscarawas County Class "A" scholastic scoring derby last week, taking leads in both total points and average over Midvale's Ron Breniser, who led Daily Reporter scoring statistics a week ago. Zehnder, one of 3 county performers to go above the 300-point mark last week, now has 329 points for the season, an average of 22.6 a game. He stands just 3 points better than Breniser, who carries a 21-point-a-game average. Zehnder chipped in 62 points in 2 starts last week. Rice soared to 326 points in action last week, while Caviness moved over the hump to 303. Breniser was the first to surpass the 300-point mark a week ago. Going over the 300-point mark is nothing new for Rice. In his sophomore season, he scored 405 points in 20 games and last year fired in 454 including one tournament contest. Caviness hit 403 points last season.
