63 - Tusky Valley Destroys Gnaden 69-52 (1-19-63)



GNADENHUTTEN - Tuscarawas Vallley (7-6) went over the .500 mark for the season here Saturday, turning back Gnadenhutten (4-12).  Coach Bob Heller's Trojans led 17-9, 33-21, and 46-34 at the stops.  The Trojans had little trouble; although, 3 starters fouled out in the final period; Bob Burris, Gary Ferren and Ed Crawford.  Ferren led the point barrage with 20.  Paul Shipbaugh had 11 and Bob Burris 10.  Bruce Kohl topped Gnadenhutten with 22, the only Indian in 2 digits  Tusky Valley hit on 27 of 75 action shots for 36 percent and made 15 of 26 fouls.  Gnaden connected on 17 of 57 field goal tries for 30 percent and drilled in 18 of 37 free tosses.  A total of 48 personals were called, 27 against Tusky Valley.  The Gnadenhutten Reserves (7-8) won their game against the Tuscarawas Reserves (1-10); however, no score or stats were reported.
