SUGARCREEK - The Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (3-3) outlasted Garaway's Pirates (4-3) here last night to post a victory.  The winners were in front all the way by slim margins, posting 19-12, 30-28 and 45-43 quarter leads.  Garaway made a last-ditch effort to win, setting up a final play with just 7 seconds remaining.  But a shot by high-scoring Don Deetz went astray.  The win was the 3rd straight for Coach Robert Heller's aggregation.  Coach Joe Richard's club now has dropped its last 2 contests.  Tusky Valley was lead by Paul Shipbaugh's 19 points, followed by Bob Burris with 13 and Gary Ferren with 10.  Don Deetz drew top honors for the game with 25 points and Randy Miller had 10 for Garaway.  There was no report of a Reserve game.
