STRASBURG - Coach Warren Binder's Strasburg Tigers (7-1) (13-3) used strong board work to overpower Baltic (2-6) (8-11) and gain at least a share of the Tuscarawas County League title for the 1st time since they won outright in 1957.  Leading 15-10 and 29-26 at the first 2 stops, the ferocious Tigers spurted in the 3rd frame to hold a 41-34 advantage going into the final quarter.  Strasbaurg's top scorers for the season, John Peters and Adrian Edie were "held" to 11 apiece last night, but Joe Aul and Vic Gessner came through with 17 and 16 respectively.  Aul, a 6-2, 240-pounder, teamed with Don Wallick to provide the board work.  "I think it's a great accomplishment when you win or tie for the title," Binder said.  "The boys were tight, but they really wanted this one."  Strasburg hit on 23 of 86 action shots for a cold 27 percent and made 17 of 23 foul tries.  Errol Jacobs' Baltic club canned 17 of 54 field goal flings for 31 percent and connected on 6 of 13 charities.  Strasburg swept the night starting out with the Junior High game, where Strasburg blew away Baltic 45-23.  The Strasburg Reserves (17-1) continued the sweep by trashing the Baltic Reserves (5-13) 65-21, then handing the ball over to the Strasburg Varsity.
