STONE CREEK - An 8-game losing streak came to an end here Saturday night as Stone Creek (5-14) bombed Augusta. Coach Ken Lawhun's Panthers led all the way for their 2nd win of the campaign over Augusta. They held 17-9, 31-26 and 47-39 quarter margins. Ahead by 14 points early in the 2nd quarter, the Panthers leveled off somewhat and Augusta narrowed the deficit to 6. But, the hosts spurted again to keep out of trouble.
