63 Gnaden Falls To Lakeland 74-65 (1-5-63)
GNADENHUTTEN - The Red Raiders of Lakeland (8-0) were still riding high, wide and handsome today following their 8th straight victory here Saturday, a hard-earned triumph over Gnadenhutten (3-9). The Raiders held a commanding 52-35 lead after 3 quarters, but were forced to sweat it out to the wire as the Indians went on the warpath. Coach OrenThompson's Tribe rallied for 30 points in the final stanza, while Lakeland scored only 18 to narrow the gap to within reach at the final buzzer. Veteran Bruce Kohl paced the Indian uprising with 14 points and ended the evening with 27 for game honors. Gene Bates popped in 13 and Larry Rentsch 10. Husky Mike Milarcik led Lakeland with 24.
