ZOARVILLE - Tuscarawas Valley (1-0) opened its 1962-1963 basketball season on the right track here Saturday night, taking a decision over Dennison. Coach Tom Connor's invaders held a slim 12-8 lead at the first stop, but the Trojans rallied late in the 2nd period to deadlock the score 22-all at intermission. TVforged in front 39-34 at the end of the 3rd stop. Gary Ferren and Bob Burris topped Coach Bob Heller's aggregation with 11 points apiece. Dave Widder had 10. John Neighbor of Dennison took game honors with 19 markers. He was the only Railroader in double figures. Dennison Rserves wacked the Tusky Valley Reserves (0-1) 35-30.
