STONE CREEK - A bad 3rd quarter sent coach Ken Lawhun's Panthers (1-6) (4-12) down to defeat.  Leading 15-14 at the 1st stop, the hosts fell behind 25-23 at intermission and couldn't find the range in the 3rd quarter, being on the short end of a 40-34 count after 3 rests.  Coach Don Durham's Purple Riders (5-1) (9-5) hit on 22 of 55 action shots for a good 40 percent and made 9 of 18 foul tries.  Port made 7 of 9 free tosses in the final frame.  Stone Creek drilled home just 17 of 54 field goal attempts for 31.4 percent and hit on 12 of 18 charity tosses.  Port Washington was lead by Wayne Blind and Paul Schwab with 16 and 15 points, respectively.  Jim Billman lead Stone Creek with 18 points, while Verle Endlich and Ed Wallace contributed 11 points each.  The Stone Creek Reserves (11-3) just got by the Port Washington Reserves (6-8) 35-34.
