BALTIC - Coach Don Durham's club fought it out with Coach Errol Jacob's combine to the wire, with a field goal with just 8 seconds remaining by Roger Beighley being the difference.  After the regular regulation game ended in a 60-all deadlock, the Eagles took a brief lead on a fielder by Dick Gerber.  But Tom Loader tied the game at 62-all before Beighley's shot from the corner.  Port (3-1) (6-3) took a 15-10 first period lead and led 30-29 at halftime.  Baltic (0-3) (4-8) grabbed a 7-point lead early in the 3rd period, but couldn't hold it as steals by Ken Gay and Loader put the Riders right back into the  wild  clash.  Durham said Larry Laisure saw only limited action due to an injury, but came in in the  last period and made 6 of 8 shots from  the charity stripe.  With this win, Port has matched last year's win total.  The Port Washington Reserves (3-6) slammed the Baltic Reserves (3-8) 52-26 for their 2rd straight win.
