PORT WASHINGTON - Coach Don Durham's Port Washington Purple Riders (8-4) led at all the stops here last night to hand Dennison its 4th straight loss.  Port, on the way to its best season in several years, took a 17-9 margin at the 1st stop, was in front 33-22 at intermission and held a 43-37 edge after 3 periods.  The Purple Riders hit on 34 percent of the action shots.  Coach Tom Connor's Railroaders made 29 percent.  Paul Schwab led the victory, getting 16 points, his best second-effort of the season.  He now has 116 for the campaign.  Tom Loader followed Schwab with 13 markers.  Larry Laisure had 11 and Ken Gay 10.  Fred Lecce topped Dennison with 17.  Nick Cummings had 16 and high-scoring John Neighbor "only" 10.  The Dennison Reserves stopped the Port Washington Reserves (5-7) team from being a .500 ball club by turning Port back 33-24.
