63 - Tuscarawas Blasts Stone Creek 66-39 (1-26-63)

STONE CREEK - Tuscarawas (6-8) broke a 3-game losing streak here Saturday night and in the process handed Stone Creek (4-13) its 7th defeat in a row.  Coach Aaron Miller's Club led all the way, posting 15-8, 32-20 and 52-27 period margins.  Ken Lawhun's aggregation experienced its worst night of the season shooting-wise, making only 13 of 56 field goal tries for 21 percent and just 13 of 30 free tosses.  Tuscarawas, on the other hand, hit on 26 of 51 action shots for 49 percent and connected on 16 of 28 free tosses.  Russ McGlothlin paced the Broncos with 15 points.  Fred Burmich got 14 and Ivan Summers and Phil Ashkettle 10 each.  Verle (Curly) Endlich, enjoying a fine night, got 14 markers to top the Panthers.  Jim Billman had 11.  The Stone Creek Junior High team won their game over the Tuscarawas Junior High team, but there were no statistics at all.  In the Reserve game, the Stone Creek Reserves (12-3) continued to win by edging the Tuscarawas Reserves (5-6) 39-34.
