PORT WASHINGTON - Malvern (8-10) and Port Washington (10-9) both ended their regular season activity here Saturday night, the Green Hornets winning by 10 points. Under Coach Don Clarico, the visitors canned 27 of 71 action shots for 38 percent and made 6 of 13 foul tries. The hosts drilled home only 19 of 64 fielders and 12 of 25 charities under the guidance of Don Durham. Ron Ebner, of Malvern led all scorers with 23 points, while C.L. Andrews followed with 17. Larry Laisure picked up 15 points and Paul Schwab 13 for Port Washington. The Port Washington Reserves (8-10) dropped the Malvern Reserves 31-21.
