TUSCARAWAS - The Tuscarawas Broncos (7-10) took advantage of foul shots here last night to topple Newcomerstown (5-10). Newcomerstown outgoaled the Broncos, connecting on 16 of 49 from the field to the winners' 15 of 46. But, Tuscarawas hit 19 of 33 foul shots. The losers could manage only 5 of 20. After Newcomerstown jumped off to a 9-7 lead at the 1st stop, Aaron Miller's combine came back to post slim 19-17 and 32-31 leads at the mid-rests before roaring away with a 17-6 burst in the final quarter. Fred Burmich paced the winners and Dave Bidwell was high for Newcomerstown. Each scored 18. Coach John Haugh's Trojans lost 2 men via personals as 22 violations were whistled against them and 17 against Tusky. The Tusky Reserves (7-7) rolled over the Newcomerstown Reserves 45-28
