63 - Baltic Rolls Over Stone Creek 73-58 (1-5-63)

BALTIC - Dale Stein and Dick Gerber led Baltic (4-7) to a revenge win over Stone Creek (4-8) here Saturday night.  Stein got 29 points and Gerber 18, but Gerber played one of his finest all-around  games of the year, feeding teammates several times for easy shots.  Ed Wallace topped Stone Creek with 20 markers.  Cliff Endlich had 18 and Jim Billman 13.  Baltic, using a deliberate offense, took a 19-9 margin at the 1st stop, was in front 36-24 at intermission and led 56-39 after 3 quarters.  The Eagles experienced one of their best nights from action, canning 32 of 56 shots for a torrid 57.1 percent.  ThePanthers also had a good night, but got fewer shots.  They hit on 19 of 50 for a fine 38.0 percent.  Baltic pulled down 34 rebounds to 25 for Stone Creek.  Stein led the way with 9, Gerber had 8 and Nick Haab 7.  Stone Creek had defeated Baltic 85-60 earlier in the season in Tuscarawas County League play at Stone Creek.  The Junior High teams started off the night with Stone Creek whipping Baltic 32-16.  The Reserve game followed with the Baltic Reserves (3-7) blasting the Stone Creek Reserves (8-2) 58-32.
