65 - Stone Creek Gets By Warsaw 53-44 (12-5-64)

STONE CREEK - Stone Creek's rampaging Panthers (4-0), who find out just how good they are this Friday and Saturday night when they take on Midvale and Garaway, continued their unbeaten ways here Saturday night.  Coach Charles Huggins' quintet rolled to its 4th straight triumph, decisioning Coshocton County's Warsaw Pirates.  The Panthers, whose forte is ball control and the ability to work for the good shot, were paced by Vic Turner and John Bihari who tallied 18 and 10 points, respectively.  Jeff Kilpatrick topped the invaders with 14 points.  Teammate Dave Fender added 10.  Stone Creek, despite a cold 2nd period, led all the way, posting margins of 16-8, 27-23 and 40-32 at the quarter stops.  Connecting on 44 percent of its field attempts, Stone Creek also out- rebounded Warsaw 38-18.  Warsaw meshed only 32 percent of its floor shots.  The Stone Creek Reserves (2-0) blasted the Warsaw Reserves 48-19.
