PORT WASHINGTON - In the tournament openers last night, the favored Panthers (7-1) whipped Gnadenhutten (2-6). Stone Creek had to scramble to mark up its 7th win trailing 20-19 at the half after leading 9-8 at the 1st stop. After 3 periods the Charles Huggins-coached Panthers led 28-24. John Bihart led the attack with 12 points, getting help from nearly everyone. Terry Huebner got 9 to pace the Indians.
