65 - Port Washington To Host Holiday Tournament

PORT WASHINGTON - Four Tuscarawas County schools are paired for the Port Washington Holiday Tournament here next Tuesday and Wednesday nights.  Gnadenhutten (2-5) will meet Stone Creek (6-1) in the Tuesday opener at 7PM with host Port Washington (3-4) meeting Tuscarawas (2-3) in the 8:30 nightcap.  Tuesday night's losers will square off Wednesday at 7PM with the Championship contest following at 8:30.  Trophies will be presented to the Champion and an all-tournament team will be selected by the coaches.  Stone Creek rates the tournament favorite.  It already holds 68-47 and 85-57 wins over Gnadenhutten and Port Washington, respectively, in county play this year.  Tickets are available for students at the competing schools for 75 cents.  All tickets sold at the door will be $1.
