DOVER - The Ramblers did little wrong against Tuscarawas (4-7) after the first frame when they trailed 30-22. They forged on top 47-44 by intermission and led 70-61 after 3 periods. Talented Russ McGlothlin put the Broncos on the board at 7:49 off a corner shot, but Rambler Denny Capozella scooted in for a 2-pointer and got a bonus when he was fouled. Ken Rankin connected to put the Charles Etling-bossed Broncos back on top 4-3 and they remained there until John Capozella took a pass from brother Denny off the give-and-go and popped in a deuce with 29 seconds left in the 1st half. John canned a pair of fouls soon after to build the margin to 45-42. The count stayed close until about 3 and a half minutes left in the 3rd canto when the Ramblers' tight press got to the Broncos and the score vaulted to 62-54 by 2:15. St. Joseph's fired in 34 of 66 action attempts for a blistering 51 percent, by far its best effort of the season. It was 18 of 30 at the free throw lines. Tuscarawas made 27 of 62 floor flings for a fine 44 percent mark and sank 19 of 32 charities. The Ramblers actually were hotter until the final frame when they made only 4 of 14 from action. Four players hit double figures for St. Joseph's, Sophomore Denny Capozella showing the way with 26 points to tie McGlothlin for game laurels. Mickey McCracken potted 21, John Capozella 17 and Larry Smith 14. Jeff Lammers contributed 8 to round out the scoring. Ray McWilliams and Rich Eckhardt backed up McGlothlin with 14 and 12, respectively. McGlothlin was top rebounder for the night, snaring 19. Lammers and Smith each grabbed 8 to pace St.Joseph's. The Tuscarawas Reserves (3-3) tripped up the Dover St. Joseph's Reserves 39-19
