62 - Tusky Broncos Knock Off Jewett For Consolation Title 65-50 (12-30-61)

DENNISON - A 2-pronged attack paced Coach Aaron Miller's Tuscarawas Broncos (3-6)  to the win after they were dropped to the consolation bracket by Dennison Friday night.  Fred Burmich hit for 29 and Phil Meese hit for 19 to lead the Broncos.  Tusky held 6-6 Dale Waller, Jewett's top scorer to just 6 markers as Bob Stamm led the Wildcats with 12 points.  Tusky never got a comfortable lead until after the half when the score was tied at 22-All.  The Broncos held a 12-8 first period lead.  Then went on to 23-22 and 44-39 stops before closing out the victory in the last and final period.
