62 - Baltic Knocks Off A Stuborn Stone Creek 50-36 (12-15-61)
BALTIC - Turning on the steam in the last quarter, the Baltic Eagles (2-0) (3-3) hung up victory No. 3 last night, a 14 point decision over invading Stone Creek (0-2) (1-4). Trailing throughout most of the first half, the Eagles took a one point lead at the end of 3 periods, 33-32, and then exploded in the final period to outscore the Panthers 17-4 for the victory. Willis Mullet with 12 and Dick Gerber with 10 points paced Baltic to its win, the third in a row after losing the first 3. Stone Creek was led by Jim Billman who accounted for 11 points. In the Reserve game, it was Baltic (1-3) again, with a 47-30 triumph over Stone Creek (0-3).
