TUSCARAWAS - Midvale (5-0) (12-2) became the first county team to register win No. 12 as the Blue Devils had too much balance for the out-manned Tuscarawas Broncos (4-2) (6-8).  The Devils took turns in scoring last night as they overcame a 14-11 first period deficit to lead 33-26 at the half and 53-42 at the final stop.  Mike Page popped in 11 markers in the second period as the  Devils outscored the hosts 22-14.  All-County performer Neal Beans took over in the third period as he hit for 8 points with Rick Belknap tossing in 12 in the final period.  Tusky came within 7 points midway in the final period, but Belknap connected on 4 straight buckets to demolish the Broncos' hopes.  Midvale hit on 17 of 37 in the second half and ended with 28 of 68 for the night for 41 percent.  Tusky hit on 8 of 27 in each half for 16 of 54 and 26 percent.  Beans led all scorers with 22 points with Belknap ending with 18 and Page 15.  Phil Meese led Tusky with 17 markers with Bob Romig adding 13 and Dave Peoples 10.  Usually high-scoring Fred Burmich was held to but 7 points.  The Midvale Reserves (13-1) picked up their 13th win by checking the Tuscarawas Reserves (6-6) 46-32.
