GNADENHUTTEN - Paced by the hot hand of Bob Ervin, the Gnadenhutten Indians (3-1) (8-3) had little trouble with the Port Washington Purple Riders (0-4) (3-7) after moving into an 18-6 first quarter lead.  Leading a fine shooting effort as a team, Ervin dropped 11 field goals and 9 fouls for 31 sizzling points, while Brad Kaiser and Bruce Kohl provided another 10 points apiece.  From the field the Indians dropped 27 of 56 shots for a fine 48 percent.  The Tribe led 30-18 at the half and 49-29 after 3 quarters before rattling the nets for another 23 points in the final period to wrap up victory number 8 in 11 outings.  Tom Loader and Tony Nigro each potted 11 points for the Riders.  Kaiser, Dave Stuchen and Kobl monopolized the boards for the Indians.  The Gnadenhutten Reserves (5-4) rolled past the Port Washington Reserves (3-5) 43-33.
