62 - Fresno Clips Stone Creek 51-41 (1-20-62)
STONE CREEK - Although shooting their best percentage of the year from the field, the Stone Creek Panthers (2-12) fell victim to a hot-shooting invading Freseno Saturday. Stone Creek finished with 14 field goals in 37 attempts for 37 percent, but Fresno ripped the cords for over 50 percent from the field in the first half to demoralize the Panthers. Fresno held a slim 14-12 first quarter lead, but increased it to 30-22 at halftime. Stone Creek couldn't close the game in the third stanza, trailing 46-33 as the period ended. Bob Hamilton plunked in 12 to pace Stone Creek, while Verle Endlich potted 10. Hines had 14 for Fresno and he was backed up by Ames who netted 13. Stone Creek has now lost 7 straight games. It was reported that the Reserve game score was 35-27, not indicating who actually won.
