62 - Gnaden Whips Stubborn Baltic 65-56 (1-12-62)
BALTIC - Gnadenhutten's Indians (4-1) (10-3) remained in the thick of things as 4 starters scored in double figures and another just missed entry into the select circle. Leading the way for the Indians was Brad Kaiser with 15 points. Bob Ervin, the league's top scorer, had 15, followed by Bruce Kohl with 12 and Jim McCreary with 11. Willis Mullet of Baltic paced all scorers with 20 points. Dick Gerber had 17 and Larry Kaser netted 10. The Eagles (2-2) (7-6) stuck doggedly to the Indians throughout the first half, but dropped 9 points behind at the end of the third quarter and couldn't catch up.
