PORT WASHINGTON - The Eagles of Baltic (1-0) (2-3) flew off to a 22 point lead at the end of the first half and then coasted home to claim their second victory of the season Friday night as they routed Port Washington (0-1) (2-2).  Port was without 3 of the starting 5 due to disiplanary reasons (Tony Nigro, Alvin Fillman and Tom Loader).  The Eagles had things their own way in the first half as they held the Purple Riders of Port Washington to only 8 points in the first 16 minutes of play.  In the second half they just held on to record their second straight victory.  "We played a very good first half, but we got sloppy in the second half," commented Baltic Coach Erroll Jacobs.  Baltic put 3 men into double scoring figures. Dick Gerber set the pace with 23 points.  Just a foul shot behind was Willis Mullet with 22 counters.  Larry Kaser had 13 points.  Larry Laisure and Ken Gay led Port Washington with 13 and 10 points respectively.  In the Reserve game, Port (3-0) edged Baltic (0-3) 31-28 in overtime.
