62 - Gnaden In Revenge Win Against Tusky 73-61 (1-16-62)

GNADENHUTTEN - The Gnadenhutten Indians (11-3) avenged an earlier setback last night, but they lost the most important decision to the Broncos of Tuscarawas (6-7)---that a league game December 15.  Coach Ron Sakola's Tribe; however, turned the tables on Coach Aaron Miller's Broncos last night.  The first game went to Tusky 76-61.  Bob Ervin and Bruce Kohl demonstrated hot shooting when they paced the winners with 26 and 23 points each, while Phil  Meese led the Broncos with 22 points.  Bob Burmich and Russ McClothlin followed with 12 points each.  Gnaden led after a first period deadlock at 18-18 and took a narrow halftime lead, 32-30 into the locker room.  They ran the third period count to 55-46 to stave off the Broncos.  Both clubs were steady from the field, while from the foul line, Gnadenhutten connected on 17 of 22 attempts and Tusky 7 of 17.  The Gnadenhutten Reserves (8-4) edged the Tuscarawas Reserves (6-5) 36-34.
