BOWERSTON - Snapping a 14-14 first-quarter deadlock, Conotton Valley's host Rockets (5-2) "rocketed" to a 33-point triumph over Tuscarawas Valley's winless Trojans (0-5) here Friday night. Conotton, revising its defensive pattern in the second period, took a 38-21 halftime lead and a 48-32 third-period margin. Bill Tope paced Coach Dave Scott's victors with 22 points-16 in the final period. George Kurtz had 20 and Russ Garner 12 Don Crilley topped the visitors with 11. In the Reserve game, Conotton Valley dropped Tuscarawas Valley 32-26.
