61 - Tusky Wins 7 Straight With 73-61 Win Over Strasburg (2-4-61)



TUSCARAWAS - A 4-pronged attack paced the charges of Coach Aaron Miller's combine to their  seventh victory in a row, while theTigers (0-7) (1-15) now have lost 15 straight after an opening decision over Fairless.  Terry Rainsberg had his best night of the year as he paced the Broncos with 24 points, while Phil Meese canned 18, ten from the charity line, and Chester Summers and Paul Cerana hit 10 apiece.  Tusky (5-3) (11-6) took a 20-13 first period margin and widened the gap by halftime 41-28.  At the end of 3 Tusky held a 58-44 margin.  Then Coach Miller replaced his starters with his reserve club.  Jim Clymer led Strasburg with 17 points.  Vic Gessner also hit double figures as he tallied 14, while Don Wallick followed with 11.  The Reserve game ran into overtime as Tuscarawas (10-6) edged Strasburg (8-7) 42-41.
