61 - Conotton Valley Handles Tuscarawas 61-51 (12-7-60)
BOWERSTON - Making fast breaks throughout the game, Conotton Valley (3-0) proved to be too much for Tuscarawas (2-2) as it downed the visitors last night. According to Conotton Coach Dave Scott, the Rockets had control of the backboard most of the game. The Conotton quintet took the lead in the second period and was never threatened the remainder of the game. Larry Dunlap led the winning attack with 18 points, aided by Dan Tope with 12. Jerry Rippeth followed close with 11. Paul Cerana and Vic Vesco were the high scorers for the Bronco's with 14 and 11 points, respectively.
The Tuscarawas Reserves (3-0) continued to ride high with another victory, this time against the Conotton Valley Reserves 38-29.
